My Cousin completed BSC computers & Electronics and MBA approximately 10 years back and never worked in IT industry due to marriage and kids etc. However, wants to pursue career in IT now due to family problems (Living in UK). I have suggested its better to do IT masters course since you have a 10 years gap in industry but due to other reasons unable to go to University. Coming to the question, would it be possible to get a job by doing certifications (Like Devops AWS, JAVA, CC++ etc) with out any work experience? Please kindly through some light. Thanks..

Yes it's possible bro, ask him to take a course online which emphasizes doing capstone projects. Even if he doesn't have any actual industry experience, doing capstone projects gives him good exposure.

Udacity, Coursera both offer such options.

Cloud anedi relatively new tech bro so previous experience anthaga lekunna you can start your career with a few certs and some capstone projects done on AWS/Azure or GCP. Java is high level language and used widely so konchem idea unna he/she can manage, first project lo maybe have to put in extra efforts but it's not impossible.

A lot of people enter into IT either from the Networking side, or Sys Admin side(linux/unix). Support Engineers ga kooda ostharu janalu straight from Master's supporting a particular tech stack or tool etc.
