వివరాల్లోకి వెళితే.. కోల్‌కతాకు చెందిన జ్యోతిర్మయి మజుందార్ ఓ సాఫ్టవేర్‌ ఇంజనీర్‌. తల్లిదండ్రులు, భార్యతో కలిసి కోల్‌కతా నగరంలో నివాసం ఉంటుంన్నారు. కరోనా వైరస్‌ విజృంభిస్తున్న నేపథ్యంలో తల్లిదండ్రులను సొంతగ్రామమైన బైద్యబతిలో వదిలిపెట్టి వచ్చాడు. కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం లాక్‌డౌన్‌ సడలింపులు ఇవ్వడంతో ఇటీవల తల్లిదండ్రులను కోల్‌కతాకు తీసుకువచ్చాడు.  అత్తమామను తీసుకురావడం భార్యకు ఇష్టం లేదు. వారి వల్ల కరోనా వైరస్‌ సోకే ప్రమాదం ఉందని, అందుకే ఇంటికి తీసుకురావొద్దని భర్తను హెచ్చరించింది.

అయినప్పటికీ అత్తమామను ఇంటికి తీసుకురావడంతో ఆ రోజు నుంచి భర్తను చిత్రహింసలు పెట్టడం మొదలు పెట్టింది. రోజు చెంపదెబ్బలు కొట్టడం. పిన్నులతో గుచ్చడం, సిగరేట్లతో కాల్చడం చేసేది. భార్య చిత్రహింసలు భరించలేక చివరకు జ్యోతిర్మయి మజుందార్ భీదాన్‌నగర్‌ పోలీసులను ఆశ్రయించాడు. తన భార్య చిత్రహింసలు పెడుతోందని, ఆమెను గృహహింస కేసు కింద అరెస్ట్‌ చేయాలని  ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు. భార్యపెట్టే చిత్రహింసను వీడియో రికార్డు చేసి పోలీసులకు చూపించాడు. అయితే చట్టాలు మహిళకు రక్షణగా మాత్రమే ఉందని చెప్పి చిన్న కంప్లైట్‌ రాసుకొని పంపించేశారు. పోలీసులు తనకు న్యాయం చేయకపోవడంతో హైకోర్టును ఆశ్రయించానని జ్యోతిర్మయి పేర్కొన్నారు.

In laws ni tiskochinanduku wife got angry and started torturing anta.. slapping, pins tho podavadam, cigarettes tho kalchadam etc. 😀 this guy recorded it and went to complain in local ps. police said domestic violence sections are only to protect women and wrote some namesake complaint and sent him away anta. this guy approached high court demanding justice for him

How come CCTV is there that too in room ? Generally ppl dont have camera inside home kada as its personal

Men or women whoever it may be ..physical abuse is for sick minded and no reason can support that

if his wife behave different then he can take her to counseling.. if nothing works out divorce! 

percentage of women gets abused is at alarming rate high

DV act for women ey 2006 lo vachindi. I think there used to be more such crimes then and it was necessary. Dowry prohibit act 1961 nunchi unna koda, still dowry abuse bagane undedi. And we are in 2020 now, if the need comes, definite ga law change chestaru. But as long as “purushalandu punya purushulu veraya” is valid, aa rule rademo le 😋
