It looks like she is fashion designer and works with all big production houses and knows directors / producers. 

She might have chosen this this as a stepping stone. Her next choice of movies is very important- if not, she will be left with no acting offer and no takers for fashion designer . Movie industry is very egoistic and  most heroines won't work with her going forward.
