Its a controversial topic... i dotn know why..

Its simple. Ther no rule that on shouldn't wear revealing clothes.

BUT anywhere in the world, when a girl wears this, she needs to be careful.. whrre she's going, whome she;s meeting.. as everyone else may not be a gentleman,.

So, it's should be ok to say avoid revealing clothes, or be careful while doing so.. but noone can rule a girl what to wear.

Take this example:

Lets say you are carrying money/gold, why do you hide it and careful.. WHY... why you wont carry it openly...

just because its your property, and you are entitled to it, you wouldn't display it publicly .. to avoid prying eyes... one bad guy out of lacks on the road.

Its as simple as that..

Not every male is gentleman, so when you wear revealing clothes, try to be careful, be vary of surroundings., while you have the right to be safe in any country,  govt/police can't protect you 24x7.

In India its only culture wise, for ages women used to cover, as our standard women clothing -  saree.

But nowadays, even in small towns, girls wear, and they are safe.. mostly they may get some rude remarks from romios, but thats side effect, they want attention, and get some bad attention too.

While, they are free to wear whatever they want, just need to be careful.

No girl gets raped, if she goes in shortest clothes, to a marriage party or where ever there are sober people. She may be in trouble if she goes to shady areas... pubs, crowded places in nights,  where there are may be perverts..criminals... just need to be careful.

You as a man, free to goto anywhere anytime.. But do you goto bustand/railways station in the midnight with cash in open hand and gold dsiplaying openly? You will be atlerast careful. right?

Similarly, while girls can wear whatever they can,.. its okay to tell them, to be carefull... even western countries can not save all women... India is far better in crime rate than MOST of them.,

AND, Nirbhya and disha are not because of cloths...  unfortunately They were at wrong place at the wrong time...at least Disha. As a nation we should be ashamed of these kind of incidents,. better patrolling/ans services like 911  may ensure thse kind sof things are less frequest.

ya this is not right. western countries lo chala avtai percentage wise. But girijana tandaalo emi ayevo asalu manaki full info ledu so adi example tisukolemu.  its not mindset completely you dont do things or try to avoid when it is somewhat inviting bad things. 

i am not saying women shouldnt wear what they want.  but  you cannot control everybodys mindset or change things fully. better be safe than sorry.. 

men have hormones in them which trigger when they see revealing things it is nature and not everybody can control i think.
