So why did it take so long for the recruitment especially when there were good 2+ months to act upon? The equipment and all were said to be in place at this particular center. At least that’s what they showed in the news.

We have already seen in the news how the doctors at Gandhi are overworked and not to mention the severe shortage of beds. 
 

 

 

In Delhi, they have set up a jumbo Covid center with 10,000 capacity. It was supposed to start functioning with 1000 beds initially and scale up to 10,000 but it’s start was delayed by almost a month. 
 

The main reason being that unable to find trained staff. They have tried and looked but finding enough para medical staff for jumbo facility will take time and eventually they could not find one. its not easy to find staff during these times. Delhi has hospitals like Ram Manohar Lohiya and AIIMS facilities and still they could not find staff.

Eventually, The government had to direct Indo-Tibetan Border force to take up operation and only then a facility of such a scale can be functional..

TS Gachibowli Hospital also has similar issues.

Kasani is the original real estate baron in Hyderabad...

There is no one else in present situation who can even come closer to what Kasani did in real estate business..

Delhi is a different situation, right? Right from the beginning. OTOH, Telangana is not so bad w.r.t the trained staff. Yeah, they may not be in several hundreds but the situation should not be this bad either. 

Actually, they recruited some staff way back in May for this specific facility. And what they did was they sent them back to their original postings for the reasons best known to them. 

All the blame-games about equipment being transferred elsewhere may help them set a narrative.. yeah, but peoples lives are at stake and hence the anguish.

It is all perception. AP ki Hyderabad lanti high density city kuda ledu mari cases enduku pergutinnayi, Hyderabad was managed well in this pandemic(containment and lock down has been the best). After the lockdown was lifted it was a different case and we seeing cases going everywhere including the states/cities in the US. We are not still testing everyone In India i.e. only those with the symptoms and those who came in contact with +ve. ICMR guidelines are changing daily as per ground conditions (when the tests are available in abundance they will change their stance and until then they are going to ration  the Tests)
