Why Sr.NTR garu highlighted negative characters?

Some of the old movies of Sr. NTR highlighted negative characters like Ravana, Duryodhana etc. In real epics these characters were very bad. He also mislead masses by his own additions to the epic stories. Ignorant people accepted what ever he showed in those days.

Both ravana brahma and duryodhana are great characters... oka thappu valla ala ayupoyaru...

i don’t see anything wrong on those characters... infact Ravana Brahma was a great lord Siva devotee and rameshwaram lo aayana prathistinchina lingam kooda vuntundi...

Negative Characters ante NTR l’anti personality ki baaga set aitadi...Chala natural ga vuntadi...Realistic ga vuntadi and mostly negative shades lo NTR does not need to act..

EVen maniratnam showed the same thing from the movie raavan.. That raavan didnt touch sita and once she is back, rama doubts her. So is rama good?
