Hello All,

Is there anyone who is seriously looking for investing or invested in agriculture land In Texas ?

What are the most possible development options we have in agriculture lands?

Planing to build self storage spaces and exploring other ideas. Any other thoughts or did anyone planted trees for future sale?

Lousiana or Mississippi, Georgia are much better for agriculture than Texas.

Top soil is grade-1 and 2 mostly and majority is black soil...also state support and incentive structure, water allotment is also much lenient in these states.

Never buy land as investment in US , even outside major cities it doesn't appreciate like back in india .

I know some sardar uncle's who bought huge farms and work on them but that's mainly due to their interest . Farming in USA requires lot of government support which I doubt desis will get

true. investment in agriculture(USA) is a dead investment. even real estate appreciates very little though if dollar remains strong its a positive investment.

Sorry for the confusion. Land is unassigned and for now you can do what ever you want. If you make it commercial we will loose agricultural tax exemption. Storage is one option for future if it meets regulations, but in the mean time trying to see what is the best options available. Like you guys said RV park, planting trees which will give ROI after 6+ years ...etc. Did anyone explored building a mechanic sheds and rent it ? Or as cattle farms for renting ..etc ? Let’s keep this thread active and discuss about options.
