Looks like corora will stay at least 4 to 5 years in India even if vaccine is invested today.

you have examples of kerala, and even Andhra Pradesh that succeeded. There are european countries that were swamped with cases few months back, that have managed to get back to normal. even allowing flights and opening up malls, and the spread is contained.

even Chennai has succeeded compared to Hyd, given around 20k tests are conducted just in Chennai and less than 10% are positive. 

what's the point of doing tests ani aduguthunnav? how else would you get the data about the extent of spread? do you need more or less data to fight this infection. ofcourse if you don't care that a certain percentage of people are gonna die, then its no point arguing anuko. but you pretend like you have a point, when you don't.

the idea is to contain the spread, manage the healthcare burden. what is my suggestion???

1. more personable outreach on the importance of wearing masks...

2. handing out masks for free on the streets by the police to anyone who's not wearing one

3. increasing testing in TG by 100 fold.

4. identifying the areas where spread is highest and come up with ideas to tackle it.. 

like stop throwing up your hand in the air as if the govt tried everything and nothing worked out. govt didn't do sh1t in the first place. and you arguing like a smartarse on this is just getting on people's nerves. you don't even have facts on your side. just a blind declaration that Hyd is somehow more congested and has lot of economic activity than other cities and that it is difficult to control its spread.

have you been to north chennai areas? there the govt worked hard to get the positivity rate to less than 5%. Its all in the govt's hands, with a combination of infra and outreach activities. just admit that TG govt fcuked up big time ... and stop mocking people who ask for testing.

your alterative idea on preparing beds, ventilators for incoming hospitalizations is what a dumb high schooler would come up with. so you don't get to mock others.

2. Handing out free masks...a sensible one.

3. Increasing testing by 100 fold. Not possible for another 3-5 months. May be scale up to 10,000 tests per day but not more than that unless manufacturers across the world start supplying with increased demand.

4. Identifying areas where spread bullsh!t. This is such a lame idea. When everything is opened up, identifying and tracing become tough and next to impossible.

yes. the govt should be blamed if people don't wear masks. why do you think govts are elected in your 'realistic' world? Its their job to come up with a strategy to make people wear masks at all time with the least amount of inconvenience. not just for beating public when they get the chance, and refusing to blamed at all when they did close to nothing to help in the situation.

when everything is opened up, it is still possible to lockdown specific areas where spread is high, or where spread can get high based on population density and how people live there, and concentrate on them.

so when that area is opened up and people there start wearing masks too, the spread will be more containable. eg. Mumbai's Dharavi, Chennai's stretch from tondiarpet to thiruvottiyur.. where random tests show less than 3% positivity rate now. It was about 30% earlier.

basically the govt should keep on trying and failing, and coming up with new plans, than give up and start blaming people.
