yup...Europe lo layover untadi and only US citizens are allowed to enter US from any of European countries.

Air India is the only option. Other airlines ki inka permission ivvaledhu...July 31st varaku International airlines meeda ban extend chesaru Modi govt. so dont even buy tickets if Emirates, Etihad etc are offering from Aug 1st. You never know, govt might further extend this ban till mid of end of Aug. So if you buy ticket, they may not refund you, rather they will keep it open for you to use later....thats a waste.

”We are operating three repatriation flights from Delhi to Newark on the 10th, 12th and 15th, and operating them consistent with the current Indian restrictions on international flights departing India. Customers can purchase tickets through our website united.com or United app.”

Thanks for the information but I am looking from Bangalore. There is a wait time of 16+ hours in Delhi which is too long esp when travelling with kids. Since Lufthansa flying directly from Bangalore, I thought of considering lufthansa if they allow L2 folks with US citizen kids

Air India VBM is the only option although some are saying United Airlines is also okay. But, better to fly with Air India. Air India VBM opens in phases..wait for next phase which might open in 3-4 days. Follow Air India and India Aviation minister twitter handle for updates on dates. The tickets will be sold out pretty soon. They also open tickets in blocks instead of everything at once...Generally they open tickets at 8 PM IST on specified day. Keep trying refreshing the search on Air India for couple of hours to secure ticket.
