In an interview with Greta Van Susteren on Tuesday, the US president said that he is open to further dialogue with North Korea's Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un despite insistence from the reclusive state that it is not interested in any more denuclearization talks. "I understand they want to meet and we would certainly do that," Trump said. However, a North Korean foreign ministry official told state-run Korean Central News Agency on Tuesday, “Explicitly speaking once again, we have no intention to sit face to face with the US.” US Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Biegun is currently visiting Seoul to discuss North Korea strategy with his South Korean counterparts.
