Home is where the heart is, you don't have to find paperwork to prove where home is. Besides, they don't have anywhere else to go because their parents live in the States.

That’s their parents fault to dump their mother land and making kids do the same. India is fully habitant .. they shouldn’t have issues going back . If they have issues going back they should prove that instead Of this BS. If you didn’t go to your home country for 20 years doesn’t mean you should dump your country. That’s the visa holders fault in every which way

become illegal and join DACA

DACA is mainly for people who enter US illegally either by trafficking or exploitation and they don’t have a life in their home country. H1B la ki em rogam particularly Indians ki .. they just dump their home country once they get US visa but most still maintain strong financial links with India so they can definitely go back .

No, incorrect. Law doesn’t care about people’s sentiments or relationships.

Try convincing an immigration officer when you don’t have a valid status or an employer to retain you when your contract is over in US.

USCIS works mathematically -

1 + 1 = 2

Do you have a valid status or not? if no, you are out.

Were you imprisoned for a year - regardless of the crime (misdemeanor, felony, etc)? If yes, you are out.

If you want a country that values your relationships, then US is not the right place to begin with (maybe India is the best for such sentiments). People should stop calling America as their home when they don’t have a valid status and everything will be fine. Parents, kids, spouses were separated - mercilessly - by USCIS for ages. It’s nothing new. If laws are to be amended, more people will line up for undue/unearned entitlement.

That would be like allowing someone to come and live in US to take $10 Udemy online course. Student visa laws are to attend offline courses in US in person. Do any of these students claim as a US Citizen while filling up any forms because they call America as their home? I hope not because that would be a felony crime!

When a GC marries someone who is not currently in US, it takes years for that person to legally enter US and join their spouse. These people would now say, “Oh my husband lives in US and I need to live with him” and WITCH companies will start saying their consultants need to work remotely from India and they need H1B visas - as entitlement if laws are amended.

Karma is a b!tch that comes around and bites in our butts for what we did. 350k chinkoo students should blame THEMSELVES because they ate some $HIT that ruined the world and still will not stop eating crap.

The title of this post should ideally say, “Who should international students blame for their situation?”
