Food and shelter is the thing you will be le looking for all the time. It may be a forest, but edible food is hard to find there. You will also be not on top of the food chain anymore. You also need to be physically fit.

It was not one guy building it though. If you are talking about living with a group in a forest, eventually it is not going to be any different from living in the city.

Yea it's a great idea. Read the book into the wild if you haven't already and then decide. Practice intermittent fasting, will come in handy
