Ee ISCKON gaalla gola endi va

ISKON  considers Krishna as god and stresses on that thing.

Some Hindu scholors opposes this as there is only one god and Krishna is a sadhu as Mahabaratham itself tells, Krishna, himself  learned Vedas and then teaches the same to Arjuna in the form of Bhavadgeetha. Even Krishna himself tells that was a summary of the Vedas.

Now, some claim that some versus of Bhavadgeetha where Krishna claims that he is god were added with time and not part of  original literature.

everything that ever comes out of India theologically is a summary of vedas.

Didn't watch the videos but my understanding was that they used an archaic form of Sanskrit, and later Prakrit to communicate. Modern Sanskrit is perhaps a derivative of those two.

I didn't watch them too. haha..

if Indus Valley used any variant of sanskrit/prakrit, their language wouldn't be classified as undecipherable until now.

which is where the problem of ISKCON comes. In the Vedas, Shiva is given the same level of importance as Vishnu along with Brahma. So this concept of an avatar of Vishnu - Krishna being the supreme godhead is a very modern one, which came from as ISKCON claims the Bhagavad Gita.

Problem with that approach is that all the other gods including Shiva are considered Demi gods of Krishna as per Prabhupada's interpretation of the Bhagavad Gita, and this is taken as holy gospel by ISKCON devotees.

ISKCON has very little to do with classic Hinduism in that case, it merely incorporates a few elements of Hinduism mostly to attract Hindus into it's fold.

where do you think they got the money from? from god?

it was looted from India. the people who built these are secondary beneficiaries of the loot. the primary beneficiaries built bungalows in mumbai.

300yrs taravatha veelley untaaru.. its a long game. all religions started as cults.

7th century when bhakti monks were roaming around India propagating Hinduism, they were laughed at too.

result Hinduism spread faster than any other religion in India. and even people who don't identify themselves as Hindus are labelled hindus by the Indian govt.

totally agree, already ee british gallu manani divide and ruled. ee iskcon cult is creating religions within a religion/Hinduism. I don't care when these cults say Krishna is supreme, I simply smile at their ignorance. But they take it too far and preach all others are demigods, don't worship anyone else or visit or chant other than krishna. These are extremists philosophies and someone rightly said that iskcon is not Hinduism.

iskcon is not an extremist philosophy. lets not get carried away. They believe in things through a different interpretation of vedas and particularly bhagavad geetha. anthe.

iskcon is not Hinduism, but it is a legitimate movement. Some of its followers are cultish. but since I grew up around Tamil Brahmins, I didn't feel weird at all.
