@srinuchaitu Also look in to putting money in Roth IRA and investing from there vs a regular brokerage account. Makes a world of difference in NOT paying cap.gain taxes in the future. I learnt it the hard way and I don't want others to do the same mistake. 

This video explain Backdoor Roth IRA very well and applies in this context too.
