the entire ecosystem must be ready to play that game. Elon Musk is a good ceo, but even he can't convince the entire auto industry to change. 

he can hope for the auto market to collapse. and if it does, he'll be the biggest beneficiary of it. that is sure.

yes...but what is the service here which telsa is gonna provide to sustain in relation to a car? what is the profit margin for a phone and a car? revenue is different from net profit ...musk has the capability of doing it and he may...but there are a lot of thinks which should work in favor to achieve it...people should realize that a great jockey may not win a race with a donkey but he can surely complete it
