Nijam chepthey anti national antaru , india nunchi Sri Lanka ki kuda export cheyaru mobile phones . Value addition emundhi ?  We don't even have have capability to make plastic panels of the cellphones.

The only Indian made products worth of name exported are two wheelers and three wheelers.

800 mil people depend on farming and our country doesn't even have a domestic  sprayer , only assembling

You can't build up a whole ecosystem over night. Look at how India was in electronic manufacturing in 2015 and 2020. Huge improvement. Things are gradually improving. Apple is, for the first time, making its best phone in India.

The annual production of mobile phones within India has increased from 3 million devices in 2014 to 11 million devices in 2017. It increased further post 2017. India is the second-largest mobile phone manufacturer in the world after China. After domestic market saturation India has set a target of Rs 7.7 lakh crore of exports by 2025. Noida is set to manufacture 30% of all mobile phones in the world by 2025. If not anything, will you agree that this will create at least create some jobs?

Per law introduced in 2018 by the Govt., any phone sold in India under any brand needs to have at least 12 major parts (amounting to over 30% of the cost of the phone) manufactured in India (PCB, camera and antenna) to get sales permission here. This will help move other components also, increasing value addition. Since assembly is happening in India in large scale, the allied components manufacturing will also move. This will save money for them.

Even China was only assembling. But then we go gaga over their companies...
