Most of the 200k+ salaries are in California and they are equal to 120k in Texas or Atlanta. It's just money on paper, they don't make more than you honestly. NOVA lo very few companies pay 200k+, the average in Nova is like 140k, same with Boston..

200k in calif house rent = 2500 = 30K

120K in NJ house rent = 1500 = 18k so only 12k diff??

Tax Nj 7.5% and Cal 9% upto 300k.

1% is nothing
