Unemployment will raise..railways didn't fire or forlough any..

 

After privatisation if things go out of control they will fire employees

Also railway require dedication..a private company can compromise on safety and just pay cimpenastion whenever accident or mishap occur.

A lot of things applies to other sectors

Bsnl has its own critical operarions beyond consumer land line and cellular 

They operate vsnl and other fiber links under sea. They are very critical for government operations.

So bank has many wings. 

American railways supressed public transport through rail after provitisation.

 

Before that rail road turned economies  from zero to nothing..after provitisation..most of those towns became ghost towns.. now rail road is controlled mostly by csx and Norfolk for friwght..a little of it to Amtrak.

 

In India or any country railways economy comes from frieght transport.. like goods train.

If we privitize entire railways.. no private operator will use tracks rent time for public transport as it is no way profitable.

But in India public transport is a basic ammenities. Our road ways are over crowded and they need expansion but India has no room for road expansion

 

This brings back to who will pay the price..middle and lower middle class.
