Microsoft Office software -Help

Hi guys...I bought a new windows laptop. How to get Microsoft office products for free( Word, Excel etc)? I know i can use google docs to some extent...But, I want to know if we can have free version of the software somewhere?

You can buy the key for less than $10 in ebay. 
 

free version ante limited time as far as i know. You can use opensource like apacje openoffice and libreoffice ala but somehow i felt its easy to spend few dollars and get MS office activation key from ebay.
