1. (hard disk ) Disk structures like sectors tracks and how sql data stored. if we do one sql select statement how many times disk has to retoate and head has to move to bring that data.

   1. SQL - reducing the redundancy is the key so that we can split the data in multiple tables and join them using join (which is expensive).
