the politics around climate change is nauseating though. especially wth the solutoins that are offered by democrat platforms. since Republicans are pieces of sh1t and not worth talkng about in this discussion anyway.

for eg. AOC types make grand announcements of a green economy, which includes investments to the tune of 100s of billions of dollars, but expressly reject carbon credit system that has been proven to work in europe and elsewhere as a system that incentivizes private investment into such technologies. This is a very bad idea.

also take Obama's gambit on Solar tech... it involved pumping up specific companies with tax credits, none of which survived the dumping of solar panels by chinese manufacturers. 

most people who discuss climate change limit their discussion to republican psycho talking points, and Democrats 'big govt will save the world' talking points.

both are wrong.

more govt investment is needed at the basic science level, than at the level of commercial products... especially for developed markets like in the US. They have to leverage cheap chinese solar panels too and not try to build everything in US.

also climate change is a global problem. all countries should put their stupid differences aside and work together. otherwise everyone's just hoping for the best. anthe.
