Issue is with middle AP people’s mindset. Why should we blame Seema people ? They owned Jagan.

@bhaigan Technically, India has been experiencing statehood ever since the first big mistake happened, I.e. Nov 1st 1956 by creating Andhra Pradesh. Merging Andhra state with erstwhile Hyderabad state on linguistic basis, where andhra was majorly telugu speaking and Hyderabad was multi lingual with telugu, urdu, marathi, kannada

After that, Gujarat, Haryana,Sikkim,  Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttarakahand, Telangana have been created insite of similar lingustic model.

Since 1956, many states  boundaries have been changed with most recently 7 mandals of TG merged with AP.

Hyderabad state lost marathwada, Berar, gulbarga, Raichur and Bidar

Bombay Presidency lost Saurastra, Kuchh

Vidharba was part of central provinces , present day madhya pradesh.

Rajasthan Gained Ajmer, Punjab lost major part of himachal today...

Tamil Nadu lost Andhra..

and gainers is what present day India looks like today

I don't understand why statehood is perceived with historic and cultural significance.

The present political administration map came into existence after 1956 and has been undergoing changes since 1956 till as late as 2014...and such changes will happen in future too...boundaries and political administration will keep changing..

Kongu Nadu and Dakshin Tamil Nadu with Madurai as capital

Uttar Kannada with belgaum, TuluNadu with Mangalore,

Kodagu ,konkan out of KA and MH

Vidharbha with Nagpur

Saurastra with Rajkot

Kalinga in Odisha

Bodo in North East

Awadh, Paschim, Bundelkhand, and Purvanchal in UP

Gorkhaland in Paschim Bangla...

All these statehood demands are in fact gaining ground if not will gain in days to come but India will further split into smaller states for sure ...Such demands are based out od intolerance and injustice and will definetely see the light of the day...hopefully soon.
