How many generations can marry within? Eventually two generations from now on, people will be more open about intermixing.

Intermixing depends on the pool of potential partners. That has always been the number one driver-not regressive thinking, culture, heritage etc. If any minority group doesn’t have enough partners, there will be more interracial marriages - reason why even after so many generations only 3% of the American population is of black-white mixed heritage. There are potential partners within their pool (blacks-whites). When the British left India, there were only 2 million Anglo Indians even after so many years of occupation. For Indians, it may have been a problem before, but it may not be now given that the immigration laws are a little better and finding a partner from their home country/race is a little easier. Better immigration laws would mean less intermixing.

It depends, you're saying that if there are enough Indians, then people won't date outside their race. TBH, you're probably right, atleast in my case, but I don't think all interaccial couple have the same reason for dating outside their race.

You have to understand what availability of potential partners means at an individual context too. For some, a potential partner maybe someone who is educated or atleast of the same intelligence level. If you look at it from that context, your pool was small and you chose someone who fit that criteria. May be if there were 100s of Indian boys of the same education/intelligence available to you, the outcome may have been different. Women have always been an evolutionary bottleneck interms of choosing a potential partner - they are the ones likely to marry outside of their race too. If there is no comparable partner that matches their criteria then deviating is an option. Given that many women are educated and that there is a hierarchy of intelligence, it could be a criteria too for a highly intelligent person. Smart people want to be with smart people at the end of the day.

Instead of complaining about hypergamy, I think men should just marry someone comparable to them rather than someone who is not. In that sense, they would probably find someone comparable to them in a different race rather than sticking to the same race.

If women are hypergamous, why would women of other races marry men of similar status?

Just saying there is no reason to put race over status when choosing a companion.
