Yogi Adityanath

He became a disciple of Avaidyanath and started participating in meetings of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagya Samiti headed by his guru. The leaders of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, Hindu Mahasabha, as well as sadhus of Ayodhya, participated in these meetings.

The task to organise the meetings was entrusted to the young Adityanath who proved his mettle by inviting the sadhus, heads of various Hindu religious orders and scholars from across the country. Impressed with Adityanath’s capabilities and diligence, Mahant Avaidyanth appointed him his successor in 1996. Soon, he established himself as a leader.

In this day and age of information overload, it is easy to forget who did the hard yards on a case that took years. Add to that a tendency to appropriate credit for someone else’s work, a phenomenon all too common in India. While the Ram Mandir case is finally heading towards a  denouement, it is important to remember that it was Dr. Subramanian Swamy, who fought tooth and nail for daily hearings  in this case. If this case got dusted off from the shelf and hearings started, it was because of his Writ Petition [W.P (C) 105 OF 2016], of his Fundamental Right to Worship case, so watertight that it forced the hand of the Chief Justice of India (CJI) to hold a daily hearing.

The Shiv Sena chief was never present at the site of the demolition, but is thought to have been part of the conspiracy to bring down Babri. Thackeray had claimed that his organisation had played a key role in the bringing down of the mosque. The Shiv Sena founder was known for his communal politics and had even praised the demolition of the mosque. A Cobrapost report had said that Shiv Sainiks were indeed trained to demolish the mosque, but not along with the VHP. "The conspiracy was hatched at the level of two Hindu outfits – the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Shiv Sena – but not jointly. Both these outfits had trained their cadres as part of an action plan, many months before it was implemented on Dec 6," the report said. Thackeray died in 2012 aged 86.

Mahant Bhaskar das

Das was the sarpanch of the Nirmohi Akhara, one of the main claimants of the title suit in the Ayodhhya case. Das represented the sect for several years. The case of Ram Janmbhoomi was filed in 1959 by then mahant Raghunath Das. Das was in charge of the rituals at the Ram Chabutra on the premises at that time and decided to join the case and file a claim. Das had also filed a plea in the Supreme Court for complete ownership of the Ram Janmabhoomi. He died in 2017, aged 95.

Santosh dubey who demolished babri masjid

Dubey is one of the prime accused in the Babri Masjid demolition case and the Shiv Sena chief in Uttar Pradesh. He was one of the kar sevaks who climbed up on top of the mosque with a pickaxe to demolish it. Dubey told HuffPost India in an interview that he was disillusioned with the BJP's inaction on the issue. "We spilt our blood, ate bullets, went to jail, our families suffered, but the BJP has only lied, lied and lied about building the Ram Temple for 30 years," he said.

It shows how much time and effort it took for Hindus to claim the most sacred part of their religion (birthplace of lord Ram)

those hindu morons who still think hospital/school should have been built here are welcome to donate their personal lands to schools and temples even, self loathing hindus should be thrown out of the religion, we had too much freedom within hinduism resulting in rampant conversions happening today

sanatana dharma says...there are many forms of god..one can achieve god by any means

abrahamic religions..their god is on the only form of god..rest are all pagans and not worth to live

the above 2 statements cannot coexist and hence india should lean away from secularism, secular word was never part of our constitution even today, it was inserted during emergency by Biatch Gandhi

the birthplace of Ram is purely for the god
