Simple

it is proven that rice and wheat are both bad for those with diabetes - wheat is marginally better ,but only like 10% or so.

Instead of saying that, Indian doctors say eat rice one time and ear chapatis another time : what they should say - stop both completely. Fuckards - they know diabetes patient is like a jackpot : keep buying medicines, later on they will get BP and heart issues etc..

can you elaborate on what they should eat then

stricly speaking... no or very less carbs but thats not that easy because humans are dependednt on carbs whatever country they are from... carbs are a cheap form of energy and that is why most of the population consume them so much in all cultures...

rice in asia, some form of bread in west, pasta, pizza in mediterranean..

I dont think indian doctors are different, its exactly what the most of the western doctors prescribe too... "avoid anything thats white in carbs" like pasta, pizza, rice and white bread... so no point blaming indian doctors...

all in all carbs are bad but the reason why doctors prefer wheat over rice is because of the fiber wheat has compared to rice... fiber slows down the breaking of carbs and insulin spike...

You better of getting fiber from other sources..

Actually, wheat and rice are equally bad. Look at source you can trust , see here :

https://www.health.harvard.edu/diseases-and-conditions/glycemic-index-and-glycemic-load-for-100-foods

Glycemic Indies should be less than 50, lease the better.

Now tell me, how is brown rice or wheat is good ?

Like sugar ( scam of the century ), data is there for everyone to see : that too not but 10 different studies showed the same results....all doctors ( 90% of them fuckards ) just keep lying. As in said, they are like jackpots - cant risk losing the business

I didnt say one has to get fiber from wheat... I said wheat has more fiber compared to rice so for people (most of the population) who cant completely avoid cabrs, doctors ask them to prefer wheat over rice since its a better alternative... you are not getting that point.

I can post 100s of links that say wheat is better than rice... that is irrelevant though.

Like I said diet is very complex and there are 1000s of articles contradictory to each other.

Another big misconception ..rice cultivation started after 1930 in India.

Ask your grand parents what they used to eat daily.  Ask them when they ate sugar first

I'm saying these contradictions are there to confuse you - when you look at reputed published studies , all say the same : avoid high glycemic index foods completely for diabetes.

I lost my father in 40s and many relatives in young age - all health problems related to diabetes : read enough and researched enough - and corroborated the facts with 3 of the next generation relatives who studied medicine recently.

lord... what are you even talking about.. why would I care when did rice cultivation start in India?

why are you going on a tangent.. I made a point that carbs are a cheap source of energy and thats why majority of the world eats them... especially the middle class everywhere.

Give it a rest

Not only him - ask any doctor and if you question them " are you sure brown rice / wheat is good " and ask for study , they will backtrack and  give this BS " it is not practical not to eat rice/ wheat " ...

They know if you stop rice/wheat/sugar - 90% of health issues will be gone and they will have no patients
