A tick-borne virus kills 7 & infects 67 people in #China. This virus has been identified as ‘Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome’ or #SFTSvirus. SFTS is not a new disease as it was first reported in Central China in 2009 & the country isolated the pathogen in 2011
