stop acting like brahmins are oppressed. she won't play up her indian/brahmin heritage because its useless in politics in the US. but she's raised by a single brahmin mother.. 

at many occasions she has referred to her mother's marriage as a radical departure from a tradition with a lineage that goes back 1000yrs,

she's clearly a proud brahmin, but she'll stick to being 'black' for politics. you may get kicks in pretending to be offended at someone mentioning that she's a brahmin, but like I said overwhelming number of friends I have are brahmin. She has nowhere played up her Tamil ethnicity. TamBrams use Tamilness  just for victim mongering... and obviously having grown up in the US, she doesn't care about that anti-DMK politics that brahmins in TN play like fcuking kids.

Tamils have some solidarity because they face political pressure in srilanka and in malaysia and speak out. Even Telugus face that pressure, but their voices are not heard in AP/TG. Its almost like they don't exist. Telugus means rich people iin the US/UK, not the poor malaysians, srilankans etc.

Tamils built that network to connect with Tamils beyond TN. Telugus are fascinated by money and have other priorities. nothing more than that.

Also Kamala is not Tamil.
