He is being shifted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, says Mathura District Magistrate

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust chief Mahant Nritya Gopal Das has been tested positive for COVID-19 in Mathura on Wednesday.

Confirming this, Sarvagya Ram Mishra, District Magistrate, Mathura, said the Mahant complained of fever and breathlessness following which doctors were called and a rapid antigen test was conducted which has come out to be positive. “Doctors who have checked on him have said he was stable. The fever has come down. However, on the directions of the CM, Mahantji is being shifted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram,” Mr. Ram told reporters.

 

The Trust chief was in Mathura to participate in the Krishna Janamasthami celebrations. He was present with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the ground-breaking ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on August 5.

Ram Mandir trust chief Nritya Gopal Das tests coronavirus positive week after bhoomi pujan

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust head Nritya Gopal Das has tested positive for coronavirus a week after he attended the Ram Mandir bhoomi pujan in Ayodhya alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

CM Yogi Aditynath enquired about the health status of Nritya Gopal Das and has also spoken to Mathura district magistrate and followers of the mahant. According to sources, the CM has asked Dr Trehan of Medanta Hospital to look at medical requirements of Nritya Gopal Das.

On August 5, Nritya Gopal Das attended the Ram Mandir bhoomi pujan in Ayodhya and shared the stage with PM Modi, Yogi Adityanath, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and a few others.

The landmark event of Ram Mandir bhoomi pujan on August 5 was attended by 175 guests the trust headed by Nritya Gopal Das had invited.

Apart from heavy security arrangements, coronavirus protocols and social distancing norms were followed at the gala event of Ram Mandir bhoomi pujan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the bhoomi pujan rituals at the Ram Janmabhoomi Sthal in Ayodhya after he flew down from Delhi to attend the event. CM Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat also took part in the rituals.

Mahant Nritya Gopal Das was present on the dias during PM Modi's speech after the bhoomi pujan and also during the unveiling of a postage stamp.

Prime minister kaakapothe some one else can do the hoisting job its up to them how to handle it but better PM gets tested first just as precautionary measure.
