As per this .. pilli if u think about others like this u r not pativratha

that's not pilli's problem. his problem is Sita was lazy and didn't acquire any skill to be held up in high esteem.

but pushing Sita to god level is pure political event. it has nothing to do with any innate godness in any of them... including Rama.

what is so extraordinary that Rama did? staying true to one wife? or fighting with superhuman ability.. the latter is hard to emulate. the former is dead easy

leaving the kingdom just because his father asked him and went and lived in a forest for 14 years... for a king who lived in so may riches, you think thats easy and you think someone like Bill Gates or Ambani's kids who were born with a silver spoon do what Rama did because their dad promised someone something? ... its impossible.  Would any typical middle class kid born with a decent lifestyle having ipads, iphones, etc and going to a good school in an AC car will leave everything and live on streets for so many years because his dad asked him to do one night... mind you the father doesnt even have to kick him out of the house, just the fact that he wanted him to leave is enough in Rama's case....

Its just one example, there are 100s of such examples in Ramayanam... if someone want to believe the story or not is a different issue (faith issue), but im strictly talking about whats written in Ramayanam without bringing in the concept of faith and belief.

haha..I can name historical figures who left princely lives. Peter Kropotkin was a russian prince who gave it all up for scientific studies and founded modern anarchist movement. He lived with the people.  didn't run away into the forest.

you must hae heard of Marx.. his partner in crime Engels gave up his rich family's life for many years, and took it up later only to further marx's research.
