Every modern capital is moved to a small administrative city , only ancient cities are kept as capitals .

 

Look at US states California - sacremento , new york Albany , even Austin started as a small city even though Houston was the bigger city . 

Only failed states are building mega capitals to hide their failure in administration and to create a exclusive zone for the rich for example Egypt .

Federal agencies are already divided across multiple cities in US vuncle. you are talking about as if this idea is bad and is first in the world by jalaganna. 

Those senators want even the head quarters to be moved to different cities.
