Not OTT but Mahesh is rumored to charge 30c plus share of the profits for Sarileru which came to around 50c. After alaa vaikuntapuramlo Cunny is asking 30c. Prabhas is also expecting around 40 to 50c.

Telugu lo pedda heros cinemas ki 60 to 70% budget remuneration of the hero rest director, heroine and other actors. Only 25% is spent on the production costs. Honestly telugu movie making ki 2c low budget, 5c medium budget, 10 to 15c high budget kante ekkiva kadu. Most of the money is spent on hero and director remuneration. Heroines kooda picha lite like anywhere between 40 lakhs to 2c ante.

ok ok... lets talk about ott zamana. this is all inflated pre ott zamana.

rrr saved anuko... after corona may be theatres will open and for the first few years edannna big hero movie osthey pandage... but theatres can't sustain with just big hero movies kadha. they will close in huge numbers in a few years.

OTT platforms have a per user view calculation. Big ticket movies will have hundreds of millions of views and get new subscriptions compared to low budget movies. Once tbe subscriber base is saturated,  OTT platforms can buy a number of big movies and can slowly raise prices. Remember netflix started at 6.99 now it is more like 15.99

lets not pretend netflix is a mature (financially) enough platform to start hosting big ticket releases.  

they come to netflix after their run at the boxoffice now.

Zamana over ananu kaani their budgets will come down for sure. Tamil lo already producer's council took a decision of slashing the remuneration by half for all actors. Telugu lo kooda it will happen. Big heros are getting too greedy and Covid will bring them to ground..

Yes OTT will not work for movies with 50c+ budget. Instead Netflix can make much better quality movies at much cheaper price.. Honestly for movie heros this is the last generation of family control. Once studios and OTT platforms start making their own content, they dictate the hero selection and remuneration
