okay. good luck to you. what else do you want me to say?

you are making arguments that normally urban liberals make. you ask yourself why you make it, when you are from a small town..

are you a zamindar there? did you own slaves in your household? how many people from your town are working with you as peers?

anyway, good luck.

I am neither a Zamindar nor a landlord. My grand dad was a field laborer and my dad a Tailor. My village Jinnam has a lot of engineering grads who are now serving every where from APSEB to Senior positions in US.

Uttara andhra never had Slavery similar to the west. We had the Jogini and Mathamma kind of devadasi systems. We never had slavery where people were bought and sold.

The point is i dont want systems to misused. Even Phd's in social sciences, history are good, but doing Degree after degree just for the sake it with no value attached is blatant misuse of the system.

I did my degree because of quota and I enjoyed a free seat while people with the same ranks as mine had to pay. I am thankful to people of AP and India for what they have given me. I was part of no group when i studied MS because of my background and caste. Even in my first job in US, i was part of no group. Still i am not bitter at what happened. India and AP has its mistakes, but it has given a lot to a lot of people.

You have nothing to be thankful of. You did the work and came up. Just like everyone else

Just don't judge others without understanding what they do.

India spends almost no money for research. If it did a lot of these kids may shift to stem research. Thy go where the money is just like you go in your job.

If you insist on talkkng low of them I will talk low of you. Bu I won't ever talk low of your caste.. because  to me you talk like a clueless arrogant uppercaste fcuk.

Just because you made it doesn't mean those who study in universities are losers.

Should I even mention it?

Phd is good for laid back life, thinkers, to get a discipline, to follow a guide. I think they are not suited for rat race life.
