Size is basically the frame of the bike . If you are 6 ft and above you go with higher frame size . Different types of bikes have their own way of sizes . This seems like a city bike so go according to that

its alright  man it just has 1 set of 8 gear casette on rear axle  not 2 sets  like you mostlky see 3 an 7 sets in budget bikes 

main crank gear has single low ratio gear so , dont expect to go super fast .

but all in all excellent for the price i paid, TREK bike kondam anukunna  kaani 899 avasaramaaa anipinchi vadilesaa

fat MTB tires are amazing , been going out on rides with my wife on weekends and no troubles as of now

 look at dicks sporting goods and get one in $300 , i got nishiki for $300 and rode 500 km in 1 1/2 months.

if you are 5.10 get medium size bike and 29er wheels

I started out with trek verve 3  , 6 yrs ago to speciliazed rubaix  trek when I bought was 750 dollars and my new road bike is 3900dollar 

you can buy last year model for 200 to 500. Less 

you need go to bike shop to decide and not all bike shop carry all brands of bike
