It's human nature , we don't like to be proven wrong .

If I say "AP is totally corrupt  , we need to change " 

99% of people will agree but the response will be different , we will give in to our prejudices and blame everything on others who we don't like .

it depends on the incentives bro. people can be enticed to believe anything under the right environment, in both ways.

for eg. how did nation break into a mass frenzy over 2G scam and everyone convinced that its a scam, whereas it wasn't possible to replicate it for Rafale scam? I was threatened with a beating for even suggesting that Rafale was a scam.. and that too in TamilNadu.

why do you think that is?
