Do cardio when you are in a fasted state. That's the only way to combat the damage that carbs do.

Try to fast atleast for 18 hours and workout when you are fasted. Early morning is the best time

I do that everyday. Fasting gives me additional focus and energy if anything.

I don't eat food usually after 6 pm. I workout around 7 am so I'm 13 hours into fasting. Post run I drink 2 liters of water and that keeps me full till 12 which is when I break my fast and eat lunch. .

Rice and wheat spike glucose immediately.

Millets have more fibre, more protein and release glucose slowly.

North Indians ki they ask to eat rice as they can eat so many chapatis . It’s just a trick to cheat your mind anthe . Eat well work out well that’s healthy in my view.

Madam

Video is for those who have Diabetes... Not regular people. If you are healthy, then you can eat any as long as you can burn it.

If you have Diabetes, eating chapathi as suggested by doctors is very bad. That's what the video is about...

I know about diabetes more than anyone on  this forum .  I got diagnosed at 630 reading and hba1c around 13.6 or something . I had it in past for around 11 months  and got off medication in 2012 . Just an FYI .

I had to do a lot of things . Starting from Kakarakaya juice in the morning to working out with trainer every damn day . It was the toughest time of my life emotionally , psychologically and physically . I didn’t get depressed but wanted to get over this situation . Doctor told me with my very very high reading he doesn’t think I can get off medication in life on day 1 . I had a nutritionist, I had a trainer and I asked suggestions and advices from endocrinologist for direction though he thought I am being crazy to try to be off medication considering my readings . He was shocked when I finally got off medication. I changed a doctor too in between as I wasn’t happy with the medication given I had many side effects and was increasing weight .
