Great to hear.

What you do now to keep it away ? Any food control?

I keep my weight in check . I exercise not to go back there ever . I am very very conscious about what I eat . Nenu foodie i sometimes can’t stop my cravings but I try to make up with exercising or eating very healthy for few weeks. I don’t follow any crazy diet at all . One time rice ( since my parents are here I can’t avoid that for lunch )  . I eat tiffin or something at night . Milk one cup. Nuts tinta but with braces adi kuda manesa . I try to exercise ( been off these days ) with trainer as spending money keeps me focused to go gym .  I exercise for health not for beauty . I never increased more than 5-7 pounds since 2012 . 128-130 range lo unta . I would tell anyone exercise for health  .  Happy ga tinu manchiga exercise cheyi . That’s the mantra . Last 5 months nunchi ghee ( good fat) kuda bane tintunna .

Type 2 can be reversed with active life style . Type 1 em cheyalem. Good healthy life styles postpone many diseases to later in life even if they are genetic .

Yes, but this who are in mid 40s and mid 50s it's difficult. It can be controlled but full reversal is difficult.

For them, exercise and food are means to control. Doctors , knowingly discount the effects of eating habits and just prescribe insulin and medications.

I lost my parent at very young age , so diabetes is a subject which I care about deeply.

You ask any medico and they will agree - they aren't brain washed yet.

Reputed studies ( not websites ) corroborate the same  , but in India doctors continue to cheat patients

Matter endi??

Run away from any doctor who says eat rice one time and swap rice with chapathi other time if you have diabetes. They are cheating you as they want you to be diabetic for whole life

Motham protein kadhu.. vedi chesthundi

fruits (apple l, orange, some other)

veggies(broccoli, beans, spinach lantivi)

nuts (almonds, pecans, cashew, walnuts)

Ragi mudha with ghee or boiled egg whites with ghee

Vetitho patu koncham protein

but again, vertilo kuda ragi mudha evvani takuve thinali. Fruits and veggies lite less calories kabatti depends on how much oil, salt and masala added to it.

1L kuda nuvu thagatledhu ante chala pedda issue. Min 2L but 4-5L (depending on ur weight) is sufficient and ur body will be happy.

2 500ML water bottles kuda nuvu finish cheyatledha per day, that too in summer?

This is what I do: I keep 8 bottles in my room on my study table(ekuva time I spent there only) and I drink throughout the day.

Millets ( there are many ). Increase the proportions of fruits, veggies and fish.

No salt ( natural sodium in veggies is enough ) no sugar ( replace with palm sugar in less quantities, stevia or other natural substitutes - not artificial ).

Main reason I see is we are used to large portion of rice compared to vegetables. You need to flip the ratio
