US is not racist because a bunch of people are racist, okay na. US is racist because its founding strucures are racist and have not been sufficiently addressed to create a more equitable society. Canada is racist because of the same reasons. US whites got a huge headstart in the US because of favourable land gifts, and because blacks were denied basic rights until just 50yrs ago. Racism still exists in policiing in the US. It exists in govt grants to black colleges. 

Indian immigrants who are beneficiaries of selective immigration polices that enable only the cream to move to US should not even be allowed to talk about discrimination in the US. They tilt the conversation to an obscene personal angle, rather than keep their mouth shut.

you are the person who claimed that people in Madras are not against India and are patriotic, right? and your right to make that claim is, your stay at IIT Madras - the most protected of protected zones in madras. your arrogance knows no bounds really. 

the difference is this, you can make whatever claim you want to about Madras, but someone from Madras cannot do that against India without the threat of being slapped with sedition.

Nikki Haley wouldn't face discrimination, she's most likely from an uppercaste family back in India. Max, someone said something to her. She didn't get turned away at college.. She wouldn't get arrested for  next to nothing. 

anyway, it is frankly stupid to keep talking about individual discrimination in the 21st century.
