Agreed with you.                                                                         I saw a client recently who are in a plan to make it permanent WFH. And their plan is instead of US its better  to have  in India ..

Not all positions require group colloborarion. Those kind of positions were also office based till now since it was not proved they can work from home efficiently. Such positions might move permanent remote ( to offshore too if they can be done offshore) to save money if companies think productivity will be same.
