There are more better Universities in the US, better research facilities in the US. Germany is better than the UK, but I think the discussion is about US Vs UK.

Also, US probably allows you to "research" while posting 6 hours per day on an online forum and watch vlogs rest of the day while letting you claim you are working in a "research lab"

1st point looks valid, although i am not sure on the real numbers. 2nd and 3rd antava it varies to each individual.

US is the land of opportunity, period! You will only realize when you move to other countries after living in US. In the last 4 years I went to UK, AUS and NZ for tourism and mostly stayed with my BTech friends for 2 to 3 weeks in London and Sydney during those visits. The opportunities there are nothing like what we get in US. The income is low, cost of living and taxes are high. It is like living in California with Dallas Salary with a job market of North Dakota. Intense competition, finding a job there is a 6 month to 1 year process not like 4 to 8 weeks in US

I have a friend in US who lived in UK for 7 years and he came back from UK in 2007 and could not go back..HSMP or visa there its tough now  and he also told lot of Punjabi community and truck driver jobs more there..but getting Pr is easy if somehow u can adjut with low salary..life is not easy as in Usa I mean It job opputunuties are more here because of the fear he had of never able to return back in 2007 when he came to India..he never went back to india from 2011 when he first came to US 🇺🇸

I think the stipend you get in the US is slightly better than the stipend you get in the UK and Germany, but it depends on the University.
