Lokesh In Control Of TDP Strategy Planning?

Despite the miserable failure of TDP general secretary and “chinna babu” Nara Lokesh of leading the party in the last assembly elections, party president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu seems to be having a lot of faith in his son.

According to party sources, Naidu has entrusted the task of entire strategy planning for the party for 2024 assembly elections to Lokesh, while he is confined to overall monitoring of the party activities.

It may be mentioned that the TDP chief has engaged political strategist Robbin Sharma for working out campaign strategy for the party in 2024 elections.

Sharma, an ex-associate of Prashant Kishor, the political strategist who did wonders for YSR Congress party, has been actively working with Naidu since the beginning of the year.

At present, Sharma is busy gathering the public opinion on the decision of Jagan to form three capitals for the state. It was only on his feedback that Naidu reportedly took a vehement stand on Amaravati.

However, instead of monitoring the activities of Sharma directly, the TDP chief has handed over the task to Lokesh. It is learnt Sharma has been asked to report to Lokesh directly and they can come to him for final decisions.

Though Lokesh has not proved himself as a leader, Sharma and his team have no option but to report to him. However, they have nothing to do since it is Naidu’s choice to have Lokesh at the helm of affairs.

It is learnt Lokesh has kept aside all the trusted loyalists of Naidu in the campaign team and is depending directly on Sharma team.

May be, Sharma has also been given the task of image building for Lokesh!
