The most sensible comment in the thread so far..I think while giving credits, we should give the right credit to the right people as per time.

Most British Indians used to study in Britain as domiciles. Even Indian Civil Services training used to happen in UK. Law,Trade etc are other areas of interest

Why would they do that ? I mean..

1950’s varaku Telugu’s and Andhra’s were two completely different entities which were later merged in 1956 and more dominantly in 1983...

Antak mundu, memu madrasollam ani chepukune vallu anukunta IMO

In the same photo, one can see Sarvepallli Radhakrishnan too...He is a Tamilian and has no links to Andhra/Telugu kada...still featured in a a photo that says ‘Telugus at Oxford’ ante...

Yes, Golconda Patrika also started with a similar ideology, which was much popular and had good circulation. 

It was published from The Hyderabad State in Telugu.
