During a review meeting over coronavirus at Narasaraopet on Thursday, Guntur Collector I Samuel Anand Kumar expressed anger over Nadendla Primary Health Centre (PHC) medical officer Dr Somla Naik for questioning his authority. He ordered the DMHO to suspend Naik and directed police to take him into custody. An argument arose between the collector and medical officer after the former said he was not happy with the functioning of the medical staff. The medical officer expressed anguish for not recognising the efforts of doctors. However, the police left Naik after two years without registering a case.
