  • More people are leaving California than arriving, driven out by worsening wildfires, power outages and the skyrocketing cost of living
  • In 2018 more than 86,000 people left California for Texas, nearly 70,000 left for Arizona and about 55,000 left for Washington
  • Between 2007 and 2016, some 5million residents moved to California and 6million people moved out to other states
  • According to a poll locals say they consider leaving due to the high cost of housing, heavy taxation, or political culture
  • Today more than two dozen fires are blazing, ripping through a record 3.1million acres of land and killing 22 people, the worse inferno in the state's history

People have life in california. Which no one knows until they live there. It's only for rich people though.

The same way there are plenty of other places in the United States where you can have life with much less stress and pollution and cost.

Beaches in California are laughable always cold and overcrowded. You can't swim in the water except one or two months. Miami has beaches,  hawaii has beaches not california. Weather in cities like SFO is always chilly never warm. There are plenty of liberal pockets in the south with much better weather and cost of living..

I think cali is over priced. If you can afford the price its still a good place to live a life.

It is a good place to live no question but there are plenty of other places with a much better balance between cost of living, weather and mindset
