2015 lo storm water drain kosam survey chesinaru, new storm water drain kosam they had to acquire almost 3000-4000 acres of land, mostly all along the existing and encroached lands. Estimated cost of land acquisition stood at 2000 crores, and total budget was estimated at 25,000 crores. GHMC even found a lender who could finance this project but the trouble was ‘Stay Orders’. 
 

Almost all of the drains have been encroached, irregular land titles and most of such encroached properties have been regularised under previous BRS schemes. On paper they are no more illegal properties.

About 15% population will have to be relocated to take up this project as this passes through the busiest and densely populated places.

I like Hyderabad only forever...

I never said the roads are beautiful just a tad better maintained than hyd / banglore . Tamil vallu Mana lagey  just konchem OA ekuva . Chennai lo floor space ratio is very low and hence less rates  , banglore / Hyderabad laga illegal structures ni legal cheyaru . 

When you go to Chennai, it will be very hard to find high story buildings that violate municipal code unlike Hyderabad/banglore or even smaller cities like vijaywada / vizag . So their municipal administration is actually better

27k undertaking, so far 8K crores have been spent on 46 flyovers/underpasses.

Sewerage:

the whole hitech city area, new areas around ORR and some part of jubilee hills lacked under ground drinage system. Nearly 3500k have been spent so far since 2014 on swerage and water supply.

new urban lung spaces and Haritaharam: every year money is being spent on green cover. Atleast 14 new urban parks have come up since 2015.

double bed room houses: so far  9k crores have been spent

That’s the exact problem..

population ni move cheyadam kastam, illegal land and construction ni paisal teesukuni regularise chesindi Givernment ae..malli ipudu a land acquire cheyadam ante market rate ichi konali...most properties are less than 100 sq yards and problem is not with money but acquiring what may be 5000-10,000 such properties...andulo okadu aina stay order techukunte for ever adi atlane vuntayi..

Most governments faulted here, some thought they could take up such projects and few administrations made an attempt...its now a mess.
