This is my humble opinion among all big cities in South I have visited..... No regional feelings for me.

Bengaluru > Hyderabad > Chennai.

Aa nizampet , miyapur some parts every year flood avuthayee. But people still buy homes there spending crores. It is just demand situation. People don't mind few days flooding issue in a year.

I saw a lot of human excrement on Vizag beach bhayya, back in 2012 ippudu ela undo situation I don't know. Chaala jagratha padalsochindi daani lo kaleyakunda, beach lo ekkada padithey akkada nippule. 

I was born in Vizag btw, so I got nothing against the city

there will be huge influx of people....

i dont know what current vizag population is...lets say it can handle 1cr capacity iwhtout issues..

Nizampet is a low lying area........ the area is a total ecological disaster now........ it was never meant to be a livable place......... Obviously large scale corruption undi untadi in city planning......... else Permits should have never been given to contruct homes there.

 

Studied in Vignan school in Nizampet during mid 90's.

 

I know how the place transformed........ Ameerpet to Nizampet......... school bus lo morning and evening........ travel chestunde for 3 years in between 1996 to 1999

Between KP main road and entrance to our school.......... 1997 lo max 20-25 huts undevi in that 5 km stretch......... edho jungle lo nundi veltunnatu feeling vachedi appudu.

Rainy season appudu main road ye water clog ayyedi.... and all areas to side of road used to be like a lake .... used to fun watching bus go through the waves.

Appatlo Rajadhani residential school ani oka school undedi idea unda. 

Naa cousin chadivevadu oka 2 years akkada, appudu oka sari vellam motham polalu ekkada choosina this was back in 1996. 

Last year ade area nundi veltunte cousin random ga adigadu arey ee area neeku gurthochinda ani, ippudu motham buildings unnayi akkada the school is still there but in the midst of all those buildings. Ayina somehow elano strike ayyindi naaku cheppa idi appatlo Rajadhani school kadaa ani cousin gaadu shock, vaarni bhale gurthupattavu kadaa ani. 

20 years lo area motham unrecognizable.
