How many of you have intellectual compatibility with your partner?

you don't need intellectual compatibility with your partner. you just need your partner to be a decent human being.

conservatives can be decent human beings, and can be persuaded with reason to indulge your pov atleast on issues that affect both of you.

technically conservatives are crap, but still we share the planet with them.

but if your partner stans Trump/Modi, dump him/her. There's no way they are decent human beings.

We don't have intelligence compatibility but have emotional compatibility

We think almost similarly 90 percent of the time from the day we got married

most people that come from same class/education/city are somewhat compatible.

Why do people marry? Not to have sparkling amazing conversations.

they marry because they are insecure of the future and need someone to hold on to.

Just like civilization has made humans weak and tied to earth, when humans could've easily evolved into spacefaring beings, relationship also ties you to one person when you can fcuk a 100 without breaking any natural law.

I would live in a space station by 2025 and in the moon by 2030. Hopefully in a polycule with atleast 100 sex partners, and engineered babies to colonize the moon and threaten to nuke the earth if they bother us.. hehe..

I guess some people like common things, and they feel they are compatible. some people dont want common things and they explore with open mind and in the process develop compatibility & mutual respect.

boring people have most successful relationships provided both the parties are equally boring

boring different from dumb.

anyway highly intelligent people don't even try to look past their immediate circle. Also intelligence is a complicated thiing to quatify

There are generalists who can grasp basics of many topics and can pretend like they are experts in it and communicate it in a way layman can understand. There are specialists who don't care to even communicate to laymen and prefer to exchange ideas within their circle because it is the best way to improve their work.

eg Elon Musk is highly entertaining and a master salesman and is thought of as a genius. Top engineer at his firm is boring but way more intelligent than Musk.

depends on what one is intuitive about. I don't trust people who predict election results/stock movements for example, with their intuition. In my opinion, they are dumbfcuks with an ego.

but within their field of work, intuition is a good skill to develop if it save some time.

most people on earth fall under average intelligence range IQ 100-130?

ofcourse this is not a constant and can be improved over one's lifetime with enough effort.

but I'd say broadly that people within that range are mostly compatible. if they are not sociopaths.

there seems to be an uptick in sociopathic assholes though these days.
