His priority is his CBI cases. Nothing matters. Otherwise they would have fought for special status, railway zone, polavaram funds and reorginazation promises in Loksabha and Rajyasabha. But nothing matters at this moment.

People tend to forget he was never a politician  , the only reason he got into politics is due to him getting dragged into CBI case by Sonia Gandhi .

But at the same time current BJP government will not give a damn about any opposition demands , not a single party in AP is ready to fight BJP at center

Atleast he should try his part in the public eye - as law makers they should suggest atleast some pitfalls or corcerns without blindly supporting. Both TDP and TRS knew the bill be passed in Lok Sabha any how but atleast they conveyed their concerns.

excerpt from lok sabha proceedings

T Rangaiah of the YSR Cogress supported the proposed laws, saying they will enable farmers to have barriers-free trade in their produce.

TDP member Ram Mohan Naidu said there are some genuine concerns regarding these two bills and that the central government should look into those concerns.

He also pointed out that contract farming can lead to loss in crop diversity.

M Srinivas Reddy of the TRS said farmers' interests should be protected at any cost, especially of small and marginal farmers.
