చంపాపేట నాలాలో కాలు కలకలం

సైదాబాద్‌ (హైదరాబాద్‌): చంపాపేటలోని ఓ నాలాలో కాలు కలకలం రేపింది. నాలాలో ఓ వ్యక్తి కాలు కొట్టుకొచ్చింది. మోకాలి వరకు ఉన్న కాలు కనిపించడంతో స్థానికులు తీవ్ర భయాందోళనకు గురయ్యారు. గత కొన్నిరోజులుగా కురుస్తున్న భారీ వర్షాలకు నగరంలో వరద ప్రవాహం పోటెత్తింది. ఓ గుర్తు తెలియని వ్యక్తి ఎడమ మోకాలు వరద నీటిలో తేలియాడుతూ కనిపించడంతో చంపాపేటలోని రెడ్డి కాలనీ వాసులు ఆందోళన వ్యక్తంచేశారు. వెంటనే సైదాబాద్‌ పోలీసులకు సమాచారం ఇవ్వడంతో వారు ఆ మోకాలిని ఉస్మానియా ఆస్పత్రికి తరలించారు. ఈ ఘటనపై స్థానికులు, పోలీసులు తెలిపిన వివరాల ప్రకారం.. శనివారం సాయంత్రం భారీ వర్షం కురవడంతో ఎగువ ప్రాంతం నుంచి పెద్ద ఎత్తున వరదనీరు ప్రవహిస్తూ చంపాపేటలో ఉన్న రెడ్డి కాలనీకి చేరుకుంది. నాలాలో సుమారు 50 సంవత్సరాలున్న ఓ గుర్తుతెలియని వ్యక్తికి చెందిన ఎడమ మోకాలు తేలియాడుతుండడంతో సమాచారం అందుకున్న పోలీసులు ఘటనా స్థలానికి వచ్చి పరిశీలించారు.

ఏదో ఆస్పత్రిలో శస్త్ర చికిత్స చేసి తొలగించిన కాలు తరహాలో ఉందంటూ పోలీసులు అనుమానం వ్యక్తంచేశారు. ఎగువ ప్రాంతాల్లో ఉన్న ప్రైవేటు ఆస్పత్రుల నిర్లక్ష్యం కారణంగానే ఈ తరహా ఘటన చోటుచేసుకొని ఉంటుందని భావిస్తున్నారు. నేరేడ్‌మెట్‌ ప్రాంతంలో సైకిల్ తొక్కుతూ మురుగు కాల్వలో పడి మృతి చెందిన చిన్నారి ఉదంతం జరిగిన రెండో రోజే మోకాలు దర్శనమివ్వడంతో స్థానికులు భయాందోళన వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. ఈ ఘటనపై ఎస్సై లవణం వెంకటేశ్వర్లు కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తును ప్రారంభించారు.
