The study concluded that the people belonging to the age group of 18-29 years have sex 112 times a year on an average.<br></p> 04/8Other age groups Other age groups <p>Those in the age group of 30-39 years are indulging in it at the average rate of 86 times per year. And it was 69 times a year for those in the age group of 40 to 49 years.<br></p> 05/8What about married couples? What about married couples? Surprisingly, 13 per cent of the married couples have sex for just a few times a year, and about 45 per cent have sex only few times in a month. 06/8The logical reason behind the frequency drop The logical reason behind the frequency drop <p>The drop in frequency post marriage can be blamed on increased responsibilities, hectic work schedules, household chores, et al. Further, experts believe that people tend to develop illness and chronic diseases as they grow older and that puts a constraint on their sex lives.<br></p> 07/8Other stats Other stats <p>Further, 34 per cent people confessed of having sex for about two to three times a week, and for seven per cent of the participants, it was four to five times a week.<br></p> 08/8Remember this… Remember this… <p>Before you start comparing your sex life with the statistics above, take a deep breath and keep in mind that sex is all about having a good time with your partner.
