I believe its only first time yearly renewal, from second year its 2 years EAD.

EB2 dates will move forward in next 3 months so there is a good chance that 2014 final action dates will be current in next 2 -3 years.

I don’t think there is any hard time limit for finding a job like H1B. However if your PD becomes current and you are ready to get GC then you should have job in hand since USCIS may ask for your current employment letter.

I don't think gc ead is tied to any employer. so, no timeline as such
